5 years.

Mon coeur.
On September 6 of 2003 Mike and I got married.  Wow, 5 years ago.  It's been a wonderful, crazy, difficult 5 years.  Lots of adventure.  Lots of heartache.  Lots of children.

Baby, I am so blessed to have you as my husband.  I wouldn't trade you for the world.  You amaze me everyday with your love and kindness.  I fall more and more in love with you every day.  Thank you for your faithfulness, your loyalty, gentleness and patience with me.  You make me bloom.  Here's to the next 5... and 50 years!

The Lord knows that I have done nothing to deserve the wonderful and loving family he has provided for me. All I have to do is look at the pictures and text on this blog and it inspires hundreds of instantaneous prayers of thankfulness. And that sparks thought about my other amazing family members, both present and future, and I am overwhelmed with thankfulness. It deserves much more than this short posting, but public adoration of my family (Mike, Jen, Libby, Samuel, Little Michael, Ian, Mom, Dad, Dave) is something I will never be ashamed of. Jen, thank you for continuing to keep me connected to you all, though a country away. I love everyone one of you as much as is humanly possible.

Happy Anniversary Mike & Jennifer. You guys amaze me. Thru it all, you love eachother, and love Jesus, and it shows. Thank you for being a shining light in the darkness for so many people. Love you guys!

What a great picture of Mike and such a strong commendation of the man you are, Mike. Thanks be to God for bringing you two together. With all the challenges of life that many of us have.....you all are excelling in meeting challenges and overcoming challenges, but crafted by the MASTER'S Hands. He never leaves or forsakes us. You are amazing husband, father, friend, worker, student, teacher, counselor and honorary big brother.

I love you so much and it is joy to watch you grow in the Lord.

I'm so proud of you and Jennifer. I really am.

I'm also really grateful for God's love and care of your family. He will keep leading you by His Spirit--step by step.

Can't wait to see you guys soon. :)
