forget the beach.

Well, Libby and Samuel had been with my mother-in-law overnight so that Mike and I could focus on caring for the twins and my foot. Unfortunately, Libby has been throwing up all morning. Thank you Faf for caring for her! (and Samuel too)!

This means no beach.

Whoever said "life is a beach" doesn't know my family.

Another "7th" postponed. In March this year Samuel and I were both hospitalized. Last December 7th... Samuel was hospitalized and we found out were having twins (yes, in the same day).

Will we ever get a break?

Okay, please keep encouragement coming... we really need it!

Jennifer, I can't comprehend what you're going through right now. But I can pray for you. If I can encourage you with anything it's this (from one of my favorite songs - In Christ Alone)

"In Christ alone [YOUR] hope is found. He is [YOUR] light, [YOUR]strength, [YOUR] song. This Cornerstone, this SOLID GROUND, firm through the fiercest drought and storm. What heights of love, what depths of peace? When fears are stilled, when strivings cease. [YOUR] comforter. [YOUR] all in all. Here in the love of Christ [YOU] stand."

I'll be praying for you!

"I know the plans I have for you," declares the Lord. "Plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you a hope and a future."

"If God is for you, who can be against you?"

Love you, Jennifer.

Hi Jennifer,
This is the first time I have clicked on the links in Cathy's blog and what an amazing thing to think that you now have four children! I know that life is really hard right now but your kids are beautiful. You have had some tough times - when times have been difficult for me I remember someone once sending me a card to say "God will never give you more than you can handle." Hang on to that, and the good times will come round again - and have a chocolate fudge Sundae now and again as we had together last time I was in the U.S.! Good friends and lovely children are the most precious things, way more important than material possessions.
God Bless you,
Cathy's Mom

Dearest Jennifer, I'm sorry I haven't been over lately to help out. I will try to make it this week if that's good for you.
I've been thinking about Libby's birthday and how that is affecting you, Christopher, and your mom and dad.
Libby lives on in the hearts of those who knew and loved her. She is not forgotten. I am sorry not to know her little boy. I miss her and wish and pray for your heart to be comforted. May our Heavenly Father visit you again with fresh strength and grace. He does heal the brokenhearted, even though it takes years sometimes. You and your family are loved by many. I hope I can give you a big hug soon. Much love!

Jen,

I just opened your blog this AM and to be truthful I usually turn the song off so I can concentrate but this AM I listened and was so happy you are I hope listening to this song alot. Please rest in His peace and love for you all. What if we really had a break from His Love and Grace. I also pray that you are feeling the Joy for Libby and Samson. They are where I want to be and somedays I want so much to be there but we are not the Authors of our fate.....in Christ Alone......that is where our peace, joy and comfort come. Just reminding myslef of these truths and know that we all need to hear His Gospel Truths......Love you and so proud of you and Mike as you walk the path He has made for you. God is for you al and who can stand against Him.???
Loving you all and praying this AM for Peace, Joy and Love to flood your hearts, souls, bodies and minds......faf, Mom
PLease kiss the babes until I see them and smother them with sloppy kisses. Faf/ Mom

Hi Jen. I've been thinking of you so much today. All of us remembered Libby's birthday yesterday. Izzy asked if we were going to celebrate by eating ice-cream. We miss her too. Hold on dear one. "The name of the righteous will never be forgotten." How did your pie turn out? Tell me when you want another.
Love you.

Just remember God only gives you what you can handle you must be an AMAZING person in His eyes. You always seem to roll with the punches and have a pretty good attitude too. He will use this for good even though it is so hard right now. Love ya and praying for you.
